MINUTES OF ST. LEONARD’S WARD PANEL ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING HELD ON THURSDAY 8TH MARCH 2007 AT 7 P.M.

PRESENT: Lee Alley, Alan Davidson, Ruth Edwards, Rosalie Lawlor, Gillian Lunnon, Katherine Thomson-Glover, Krystyna Zarafa, Gaye Weston-Simons, Gillian Tyson, Mary Gillman, Susan Dench, Jeremy Clyne, Brian Palmer, Roger Giess, Clive Bennett, Jenny Golding, Pamela Veiga, Neal Thurlow, P.C. Rebecca Young, Sgt. Trevor Struthers, Paul Asquith, Dianne Strang, Andrew Stephenson, P.S. John Harrison, Patrick Seuer

1. Welcome

Lee Alley welcomed everyone to the first annual general meeting on the St. Leonard’s Safer Neighbourhood ward panel.

2. Re-election of Officers

The positions and current holders are: Chair, Lee Alley; Deputy Chair, Alan Davidson; Treasurer, Ruth Edwards and Secretary, Rosalie Lawlor.

Alan Davidson nominated Lee Alley to be Chair and Gaye Weston-Simons seconded. Ruth Edwards commented that she thought Lee Alley has been a very good inspiring Chair for the past year. Alan Davidson echoed these sentiments.

Lee Alley nominated Alan Davidson to be Vice Chair and this was seconded by Jenny Goulding.

Lee Alley nominated Ruth Edwards to be Treasurer and this was seconded by Alan Davidson.

Gillian Lunnon nominated Rosalie Lawlor to be Secretary and this was seconded by Lee Alley.

3. Length of Term of Office for Officers on the Committee

Lee Alley proposed setting a two year limit on the time an officer can hold a position on the committee. Lee Alley proposed the Constitution be amended to reflect this and the motion was passed.

4. Any Other Business

There being no other business the meeting was declared closed at 1915.
