Morning all
I would like to invite any members of the ward panel to join me at the next Streatham Crime Working Group on Tuesday 01 August. The meeting is a public meeting looking at current issues within Streatham on a four ward basis and has regular updates from the local police and warden teams looking at their performance and projects which have been carried out. Each meeting we have a guest speaker. In August we will be joined by the Substance Misuse Engagement Officer from Lambeth DAAT who will be presenting on Qat and its issues within the Somali Community. The meeting will be held between 19:00-21:00 at Sunnhyhill House. These meetings are held bi-monthly and are a great opportunity to hear about work being carried out to help reduce crime and fear of crime within Streatham. The group also recievce reports from myself with regard to my Community Safety action plan for Streatham and help me identify works to be carried out within each financial year.
