Police statement on stabbing in West Norwood

The Police have issued a statement on the double stabbing that occurred on Tuesday in West Norwood:

Officers investigating the double murder of two men at an address in West Norwood have arrested a man. The 29-year-old man was arrested at an address in south London yesterday evening (21 October) and remains in custody at a south London police station.

The bodies of two men, believed to be aged approximately 60, were found at the flat. Both were pronounced dead at the scene. This is being treated as a double murder inquiry. Read more...

How to report anti-social behaviour in Streatham

A new anti-social behaviour reporting hotline has been launched by the community safety team, which gives the public an easy way to report concerns about anti-social behaviour in their area. The number is 020 7926 4000. In the past callers reporting anti-social behaviour usually had to contact different teams within the council to if there were various issues that made up their problem. The noise team would have to be phoned to complain about noisy parties; Community Safety if there were other issues. Now callers can speak to one person. Read more...
