Good news! The St Leonards Safer Neighbourhoods Team noticed two gentlemen acting suspiciously around an alleyway leading to an area behind private residences. Upon checking them out and verifying ID they found one was wanted by Charing Cross Police for theft. He is now helping the officers there with their enquiries. And there's one less bad guy in our area due to the Safer Neighbourhood team's vigilance. The system does work.
